"LATEST NEWS"
03/31/2005
Ok, while it might appear as though I've been on strike or fallen off the face
of the earth, the truth is nothing so dramatic. I went back to school in October
and just haven't had the energy to do a lot of updating on the site. 40 hours a
week working as a phone bitch + 12 hours a week of school + homework = one very
tired old man & one of the oldest living Freshman. LOL I have managed to
keep a 3.8 GPA, and so far the classes have been a labor of love for the most
part. I just completed a video editing class that was a lot of fun, I made a
music video to Gamma Goblins for my final project. It was a lot of work and
involved quite a few nights of working until dawn, but it was well received, so
I guess it was worth it. I would like to post it for all to see but I don't know
if that is legal or not. The copyright nazis have been on a witch hunt, and I
just don't have time to mess with them.

I
went to the Astral
Projection show on the 23rd (Astral Projection is a 2 man band consisting of
Avi Nissim & Lior Perlmuter) and what a show it was. Music wise, it was one
of the best shows that I have ever seen. Avi & Lior had me doing the dance
of the drunken monkey till I was about to fall over. And I have to give the guys
props for not throwing a fit about the venue (Studio B). I how ever am not so
eloquent. The B must stand for badly run below average business. The place had a
nice layout and I'm sure if you were out scouting locations it would look like a
good place for a party. However once the party starts you will discover the
place becomes a hot steamy sauna. I showed up around midnight and the place is
literally in excess of 90 degrees. Now the place doesn’t serve alcohol so
already we are getting off on the wrong foot, so I order an energy drink and it
is hot too. What the fuck?? Didn’t
mater what you ordered, it was all warm. Then to top it all off they shut down
the other rooms early. The psytrance room was slated to start the last DJ at
3:30am, they shut the room down before 2 am.

Things are going well here in Seattle. I have found a little club
to call home "CLUB NOC NOC". They have some good DJs spinning
progressive house. One of the DJs (DJ EVA) opened for the Van Dyk show a few
months ago. So while its not a trance night, it's not all bad ;-) I've finally
found a job and now have income to go with my outgo. So hopefully I will be
acquiring some new CDs soon and will be giving the play-list a much needed
Update.

ACK, I've been going up & down for almost 2 weeks now. My server host
had an emergency move. We are back up now, but it took much longer than usual
for the DNS to propagate. I apologize for the Inconvenience , and
thanks for sticking with me during this frustrating transition.

Well thinks are looking up a bit. I have sold my home and will soon be dept
free! WOOT WOOT! I have given up on the Dallas job market. If all the companies
in this area want to seed my entire industry to India, then I can only assume
that they don't want my money ether. So the plan is to move to Seattle on
the 29th. I have never been there before, but it has to be better than here;-) I
will be spending a few weeks in Portland visiting a friend, then it is off to
Seallte. If any one is in the area give me a shout. My email is listed in the
links section.

This may be the last update for a while, things are looking pretty rough, I
don't know how much longer I will be able to keep the webcast going. I just
found out that yet another job has fallen out from under my feet. This time the
co is moving to Canada and decided not to hire any new people. So after a year
of aggressively looking for work, and failing miserably, finances are shot to
hell. The broadcasting fees are paid up till the end of March, so I know it will
sty up at least that long. However I don't know if I will be able to keep the
internet connection up for much longer.
I do have a new T-Shirt for sale, it's a little jab at the RIAA and all the
anti-piracy propaganda. Here is a clue for all you corporate rock producers, if
you didn't charge out the ass for over priced crap that no one want to hear you
just might sell some music.

ACK, the last 2 days have been DNS hell. I'm
up, I'm down, I'm up, I'm down, and so on for the last 2 days. I think every
thing is resolved now, my apologies for any inconvenience.
On a brighter note. The
Infected Mushroom &
Init. String show here in Dallas was excellent! Lots of people turned up and
filled the place shoulder to shoulder. In fact that was my only complaint about
the show, too many people for me to dance. I'm one of those people that needs a
3 to 5 foot radius to dance and flail around like a drunk monkey. But I can't
complain too much as it's much better to to be crowded than to have a sparse
turn out. I know the
Init. String boys were really excited about the the crowd and the amount of
peps dancing to there new stuff. And rightfully so, as it was a damn good show.

Going to go see Infected Mushroom &
Init. String tonight. WOOT WOOT very excited about this show. I had to work
last year and missed out on all the fun. All my friends had to rub it in too.
Every one I know was at that show and was sure tell me about all the fun I
missed. Well Not this year buddy! Come hell or high water I will see ya there
tonight. Look for the drunk fat man dancing like a damn fool. That will most
likely me. Feel free come say hello and buy a unemployed tech a vodka/7.
On a completely different topic I would like to thank every one for tuning in to
the webcast. In the last 30 days People from 40 different countries have lent an
ear to this station. I am very humbled, and grateful for your support. I
have been kicking around the concept of adding multiple languages but have just
about decided against it. With listeners from 40 some odd countries, where would
I start. Sorry but I am not going to learn to write in 30 or 40 different
languages. I have a hard enough time with english. I mean, that would be enough
to drive a man to drink. Wait a minute....I already do drink, but that would put
me in a coma. LOL So I will just keep doing what I have always done. Keep it
simple and share my taste in music with any one that will listen.

Happy New Year Guys
I added some new mixes for the new year, that's pushing the play list to just
over 38 hours long, and maxed out my server space. So it is time for some early
spring cleaning. I'm thinking of dropping Some of the slower tempo stuff to make
room for new mixes, but haven't decided yet. I strongly feel that verity is the
spice of life but I find myself being drown more and more to the Psy-Trance
side. Feel free to weigh in on this process if you like. Listener feedback is
always welcome. My addy is listed in the links section.
And One last thing, Sense the heartless corporate bastards that use to employ me
have decided to outsource all support positions to India, and have flooded the
local market with unemployed Techs. I have started up my own business. Look for
me on a street corner near you.

I would like to thank Peter Rzepka for
donating to the cause. Peters donation paid for 2 cool new CDs from
Organic Records.
Check these guys out, they have some hot CDs and you can help support the
independent Artist and Label. They also have some cool CD release parties coming
up.
And once again Thanks Peter !
Do you want your own
broadcast? Live365 can hook
ya up, and for a lot less than you would think. I have been using these guys for
a few years and I give them my personal recommendation.
